Like most website operators, ISSCloud collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. ISSCloud’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how ISSCloud’s visitors use its website. From time to time, ISSCloud may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website.
ISSCloud also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for logged in users and for users leaving comments on https://www.isscloud.io/ blog posts. ISSCloud only discloses logged in user and commenter IP addresses under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information as described below.
Gathering of Personally-Identifying Information

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
Those who engage in transactions with ISSCloud – by purchasing ISSCloud’s services or products, are asked to provide additional information, including as necessary the personal and financial information required to process those transactions.
In each case, ISSCloud collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor’s interaction with ISSCloud. ISSCloud does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below. And visitors can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain website-related activities.
If ISSCloud, or substantially all of its assets, were acquired, or in the unlikely event that ISSCloud goes out of business or enters bankruptcy, user information would be one of the assets that is transferred or acquired by a third party. You acknowledge that such transfers may occur, and that any acquirer of ISSCloud may continue to use your personal information as set forth in this policy.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
